Department: Learning Assistance Center Department's Website: Summary of Job Duties: This position involves assisting UAPTC students in all levels of mathematics. The primary responsibility of the tutor will be to aid math students in understanding and mastering concepts given to them in class. Both one-on-one tutoring and group tutoring are part of the daily job performance. This position often requires tutoring students in several different levels of math at one time. Qualifications: Peer Tutors - Must have completed College Algebra or other math levels of which one wishes to tutor with a "B" or better and a letter of recommendation from each instructor for every subject tutoring. Professional Tutors ?
