Job Description

As a Medical Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for handling inbound calls, emails, or chat support for a single account, gathering and verifying customer information, and documenting it inside our systems. This role requires a strong and diverse skillset, including:

  • Documenting customer interactions inside our systems
  • Providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborating with our team to achieve business objectives and drive customer satisfaction

  • Meet or exceed performance metrics and quality standards
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

  • 1-2 years of experience in medical claims or customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to deal with upset customers and de-escalate situations
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Ability to navigate multiple systems with your computer
  • Technical abilities sufficient to install/uninstall programs and troubleshoot your own equipment
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must have experience in a high call volume environment

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with Genesys Phone Systems

  • Previous call center experience
  • Previous experience working remotely
  • Basic technical support experience

Job Requirements

* Must be available to train on weekdays

  • Training takes place during the daytime hours, approximately 6 am-4:30 pm (PST)
  • Must have open availability 24/7 to work shifts inside our company's hours of operation
  • Attendance is vital
  • A quiet place to work at home with a locked door is required to prevent background noise on calls

* Desktop Windows Computer (NO MACs or Chrome Book)

  • Processor: Intel i3, i5, i7 or i9 (recent generation)/AMD Ryzen 3, 5, 7, or 9 (recent generation)
  • 8GB RAM as a floor, 16GB RAM preferred
  • Dual Monitor
  • A high-quality USB headset
  • To be hardwired in at all times
  • Minimum internet speeds of:

+ 20Mbps Download + 10Mbps upload + LESS than 20ms ping stability + No Spectrum

Compensation and Benefits

* Pay Rate: $15.00 hourly

  • Medical, Dental & Vision
  • Benefits-eligible on the first of the month after 60 days of employment
  • Sick time eligible after 6 months of employment
  • 401k with Company Match eligible after 1 year of employment
  • Perfect Attendance Quarterly Bonus
