Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team, responsible for analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends and insights, and developing actionable recommendations to drive business growth. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to apply data-driven insights to inform business decisions, optimize inventory management, and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

* 30% Execute existing reporting and analytical tasks, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of insights and recommendations

• 20% Use data analysis tools to create new dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc requests, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions
• 20% Ensure the quality of work output by demonstrating a keen attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness
• 20% Develop and maintain specialized skills and domain expertise within the core functional team
• 10% Present findings in easily understood ways, focusing on how the data analysis fits into the overall business strategy

Direct Chief/Direct Reports

* This position reports to a Director

• This position has no immediate reports

Travel Requirements

* Normally requires less than 10% of the time for temporary travel

Physical Requirements

* Most time is spent sitting in a comfortable position, with frequent opportunities to move about

• Occasionally, there may be a need to move or lift light objects

Working Conditions

* Located in a comfortable indoor area

• Any unpleasant conditions would be rare and not surprising

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as Software Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field

• 3 years of work experience in data mining, statistical analysis, evaluation, or estimation
• Previous direct involvement in investigating the relevant topic (e.g., Store network, Marketing, Events, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

* Work experience with SQL Server, Teradata, Prophet, or equivalent data set frameworks

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
• Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
• Familiarity with data mining and machine learning techniques
