The Role

As a Homeowner's Insurance Customer Service Specialist, you'll be responsible for managing incoming customer inquiries and resolving issues related to their insurance policies. You'll work closely with our insurance provider clients to deliver exceptional customer service, process payments and modifications, and escalate complaints across various communication channels. Your friendly demeanor, empathy, and patience will be essential in building strong relationships with our clients and their customers.

Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to homeowners' insurance clients, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Manage a high volume of calls, emails, and letters, documenting all client communication across multiple platforms
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for our clients and their customers, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution
  • Collaborate with our insurance provider clients to deliver tailored solutions and exceed their expectations
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and best practices

Qualifications

* 2+ years of customer service experience in a call-center environment, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional results

  • Prior experience in the insurance industry, with a deep understanding of homeowner's insurance policies and regulations
  • Ability to work remotely, with a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace
  • Demonstrated communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience using CRM software and other customer service tools
  • Strong independent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues

Preferred Qualifications

* 4+ years of insurance experience, with a strong understanding of insurance policies and regulations

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) or multilingual, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Associate's degree or higher in a related field, such as business, communications, or a related field

What We Offer

* Competitive hourly rate of $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

  • Flexible schedule, with variable hours between 8:30am-6:00pm EST Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays required
