The Role

We're seeking an experienced Remote Data Entry Operator to join our team on a full-time basis. As a key member of our data management team, you'll be responsible for:

• Transferring data from paper formats to computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners
• Entering data provided directly by customers with accuracy and attention to detail
• Creating spreadsheets with a large number of figures without errors
• Verifying data by comparing it with source documents
• Updating existing data to ensure it's up-to-date and easily accessible
• Retrieving data from the database or electronic files as requested
• Performing regular backups to ensure data preservation
• Sorting and organizing documentation after data entry to prevent data loss

Essential Qualifications

* Demonstrated experience as a data entry clerk (at least 1 year)

• Fast typing ability (at least 40 wpm) with knowledge of touch typing system
• Excellent knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet tools (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.)
• Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices
• Basic knowledge of databases
• Good command of English, both oral and written, and good customer service skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
