Job Description

As a Part-Time Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients and their patients. Your primary duties will include:

  • Answering phone calls in a timely manner and being a skilled problem solver
  • Working well with others and meeting set quality standards
  • Being courteous and professional while providing information to callers
  • Assuring the accurate and timely handling of client and member calls with total follow through
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Answering client and provider questions, including claims payment, status, and coverage information
  • Interpreting client health plan protocol
  • Reviewing claims status and providing status to members
  • Maintaining accurate and complete call documentation
  • Maintaining a high level of professionalism
  • Returning incoming calls
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-volume healthcare call center
  • Knowledge of healthcare claims review
  • A healthcare or health insurance background
  • Experience with BCBS HMOI or other insurance plans is a plus
  • Proficiency in using multiple systems, including Teams and Excel, with Jira experience being a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Availability for a 4-5 hour shift between 8am and 6pm Central Time Zone

Preferred Qualifications

* HMO Managed care Medicare Advantage experience

  • Experience with multiple customer service channels, including chat, text, and virtual assistant

Compensation and Benefits

The base pay range for this role is between $19.00 to $20.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly. arenaflex offers a competitive compensation package, including:

Work Environment and Culture

As a remote employee, you'll have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home. arenaflex provides new employees with the necessary equipment to function in their role at no charge to the employee. Employees provide their own internet connection, capable of conducting video calls on camera and connecting to various internal and external systems.
