Customer Service Representative

Job Description:

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional support and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. You'll work closely with our team to ensure that our customers receive the best possible experience, leveraging our knowledge base and case management tools to provide accurate and helpful information.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and written correspondence

  • Utilize knowledge base information from MARCS and STAR systems to answer customer inquiries regarding departmental policies, procedures, and points of law
  • Process work queues and exception reports generated from MARCS and STAR systems
  • Update and retrieve account information regarding delinquent tax and state agency debt accounts
  • Escalate complex issues to contracted private collection agencies as needed
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required

  • One year of experience responding to customer inquiries and resolving problems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in a service center environment

  • Knowledge of tax and state agency debt collection processes
  • Familiarity with MARCS and STAR systems
  • Certification in customer service or a related field

Skills and Competencies:
