Experienced Customer Service Representative – Pet Industry E-commerce Expert

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the face of our company, providing support and guidance to customers through various channels, including phone, email, and chat.

What You'll Do

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

• Engaging directly with customers to resolve their queries, provide product recommendations, and ensure a positive experience
• Researching and problem-solving to determine the best solutions for customers, thinking proactively, and setting follow-ups as needed
• Operating with empathy, active listening, patience, and kindness to customers and team members alike
• Collaborating with teammates, managers, and other stakeholders using virtual collaboration tools to contribute to a customer-centric culture
• Adapting to change with the business needs of the company and being flexible with your schedule and work hours

What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) in a written assessment
• Ability to multitask, maintain a conversation on the phone while navigating on the computer and taking notes
• Proficiency in using computers, data entry, and rapid navigation through systems and the internet to search for information to help support customers
• Ability to adapt to change with the business needs of the company and be flexible with your schedule and work hours
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a background check

Technical Requirements

To ensure a seamless customer experience, you'll need:

• A dedicated workspace with a computer monitor and minimal distractions
• A reliable wired, high-speed internet connection (30 Mbps+ download speed / 10 Mbps+ upload speed)
• A cell phone or tablet for two-factor authentication through Okta Verify
• A headset and webcam for virtual meetings and customer interactions
