Job Summary
As a Full Stack Software Engineer on our Data Visualization team, you'll play a critical role in designing and developing web applications that bring data to life. You'll work closely with our data science and design teams to create intuitive and interactive visualizations that inform business decisions and drive growth. Your expertise in front-end development, data visualization, and cloud infrastructure will help us build scalable and secure applications that meet the needs of our global audience.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop web applications that showcase data-driven insights and inform business decisions
- Collaborate with data science and design teams to create interactive and intuitive visualizations
- Develop and maintain cloud-based infrastructure to support scalable and secure data processing
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate data visualization components into larger applications
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform our data visualization strategy
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices and standards
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack software development, with a focus on front-end development and data visualization
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, and front-end frameworks such as React or Angular
- Experience with data visualization libraries such as D3.js or Chart.js
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and scalability principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Experience with big data processing and analytics tools such as Hadoop or Spark
- Familiarity with cloud-based data storage solutions such as AWS S3 or Google Cloud Storage
