Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Remote Medical Data Entry Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Revenue Cycle Operations team, you will be responsible for processing medical data through CMS portals, reviewing cases for eligibility, and entering data into our database. You will also be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients, responding to inquiries, and ensuring that all data is accurate and up-to-date.
Key Responsibilities
* Process medical data through CMS portals, reviewing cases for eligibility and entering data into our database
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure that all data is accurate and up-to-date, maintaining high standards of quality and compliance
- Utilize appropriate systems and databases to enter client or examine information and retrieve information as needed
- Pull medical records from clients' external sites and upload into our internal database
- Ensure that all medical records are complete and properly filled out
- Collaborate with reviewers to provide insight on treatment or diagnosis to help insurance companies decide whether to approve or deny claims
Hours and Work Environment
* Work from home in a fully remote environment
- Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm CST
- Flexible work arrangements to accommodate your needs and preferences
Additional Skills and Qualifications
* 1+ year of data entry experience
- 1+ year of patient access experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable internet connection
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with CMS portals and medical data entry systems
Pay and Benefits
* Competitive salary range: $15.00 - $15.00 per hour
