Key Responsibilities

* Work closely with Security Sales and Google Cloud teams to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand client technical and compliance concerns, and develop strategies to address technical blockers.

  • Maintain high levels of technical expertise and work with Google Cloud Security products to demonstrate and validate solution benefits in client and partner scenarios.
  • Support Google Cloud Security opportunities and relationships by being responsible for technical aspects of deals, including delivering compelling technical presentations, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concepts, and demos to clients, partners, and Google Cloud Platform stakeholders.
  • Plan and deliver product messaging to highlight our solutions' value using strategies including whiteboard and slide presentations, product showcases, white papers, trial management, and request for information response documents.
  • Attend client sites, meetings, and other related events, as necessary.

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

  • 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing or technical sales engineering role, with a focus on security or cloud-based solutions.
  • Strong understanding of network security concepts, including threat detection, malware analysis, cloud security management, and identity and access management frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

* Postgraduate education in a relevant field, such as Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.

  • Certification in Cloud or Security industry.
  • Experience with big business security initiatives, such as threat hunting, malware analysis, cloud security management, or identity and access management frameworks.
  • Knowledge of emerging trends in the network security industry, including ransomware, attack frameworks, and zero-trust architectures.
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and presentation skills.
