Job Responsibilities
As a Full Stack Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
- Working with large, messy, disparate datasets and performing ad-hoc analyses to inform business decisions
- Creating ETLs or scripts that pull data from multiple sources and centralize it in a single table
- Developing data visualizations to display and quantify the impact of changes and business challenges
- Engaging with team members and cross-functional groups to establish credibility and share insights
- Analyzing stakeholder needs and partnering with Operations, Finance, and Product groups to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and latency
- Leveraging scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate reporting tasks (screenshots, metrics prioritization, and outlier recognition)
- Documenting your approaches and sharing your expertise with colleagues
- Mentoring colleagues and becoming a Subject Matter Expert
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Business Administration)
- Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to govern data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity
- Creativity with a user experience basis to create impactful Tableau dashboards
- Business operations fluency, with the ability to recognize and root-cause business problems
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
Preferred Qualifications
* Advanced experience with SQL and Tableau
- Experience with e-commerce operations or parcel service operations
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages
- Experience with data manipulation tools, including Knime, Alteryx, R, Tableau Prep, etc.
Skills and Competencies
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain data integrity
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Tableau
