Job Summary

The Customer Service Manager is a critical role within arenaflex, responsible for leading the Customer Service Department and driving success through effective planning, supervision, and customer service activities. This position requires a strong and diverse skillset, with a focus on leadership, team development, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Manager at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Developing and promoting the department's goals and objectives through effective planning and supervision
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining department procedures to increase efficiency and improve service
  • Monitoring and analyzing customer service effectiveness reports to enhance department efficiency
  • Overseeing the order entry process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to cut-off times
  • Communicating sales opportunities to the Sales team to maximize sales penetration
  • Hiring, training, and managing a team of customer service representatives
  • Conducting regular performance reviews and providing feedback to team members
  • Managing the Customer Management Process (CMP) and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Analyzing and identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

To be successful as a Customer Service Manager at arenaflex, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years or more of customer service or call center experience
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively to satisfy customer needs
  • Experience managing individuals, motivating, training, and disciplining a staff
  • Good computer skills, with working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle crisis situations effectively
  • Good operational knowledge of a distribution warehouse environment

Decision Making Authority

As a Customer Service Manager at arenaflex, you'll have the authority to make important decisions independently, including:

  • Weekly schedules and hiring decisions
  • Customer credits under $500
  • Incentive payouts and changes to procedures or implementation of new procedures
