Day-to-Day

As a Full Stack Data Scientist on our Matching and Relevance Team, you'll be working with a unique dataset of jobs, resumes, applications, and outcomes. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization to develop and optimize machine learning models, implement best practices for evaluation, monitoring, and MLOps, and participate in code reviews and innovation sessions with software engineers and data scientists.

Responsibilities

* Develop and deploy machine learning models from prototype to production, ensuring high-quality and scalable solutions

• Implement best practices for evaluation, monitoring, and MLOps, ensuring seamless integration with our data infrastructure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize version inference services, driving business outcomes and improving user experiences
• Participate in code reviews and innovation sessions with software engineers and data scientists, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive team growth and innovation
• Balance technical and product thinking, demonstrating ownership and commitment to team goals and arenaflex's mission to help people get jobs

Skills and Competencies

* Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (such as Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related fields)

• 2+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Data Scientist, or Machine Learning Engineer in a business setting
• Significant expertise in training, fine-tuning, and comparing large models, with a strong understanding of deep learning libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Huggingface, etc.)
• Knowledge of recommendation systems, particularly rating algorithms, is a plus
• Prior experience in deploying machine learning models at scale is a plus
• Basic working knowledge of Java is a plus
