Key Responsibilities

As a Ramp Agent at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient handling of cargo and baggage. Your responsibilities will include:

• Safely lifting, loading, unloading, and transporting baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft, while ensuring timely connections by guiding incoming and departing aircraft from the gate positions.
• Safeguarding cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather conditions.
• Safely driving and operating ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion.
• Operating baggage scanners and computers to ensure baggage is routed accurately to the customer's destination.
• Maintaining a high level of safety awareness and adhering to all safety procedures and protocols.

What You Need to Succeed

To be successful as a Ramp Agent at arenaflex, you'll need:

• Consistently prioritizing safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
• Embracing diverse people, thinking, and styles.
• Possessing a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
• Being at least 18 years of age and having authorization to work in the United States.
• Having a valid driver's license.
• Proficiency in English.
• Passing a physical ability test (PAT). You can prepare for the PAT by watching this video.
• Must wear required company-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to include, but not limited to: hearing protection, safety-toe footwear, protective headwear (bump cap or hard hat), and high visibility safety apparel subject to an approved accommodation, such as alternate PPE.
• Ability to hold airport-specific requirements such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal.
