Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional support via phone and email. You will be the face of our brand, communicating with customers to understand their needs, provide solutions, and ensure their satisfaction. This is a remote position that offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home.

Key Responsibilities

* Answer incoming calls from customers and respond to their inquiries in a timely and professional manner

  • Review customer history as necessary to provide personalized support and resolve issues efficiently
  • Follow policy and procedure guidelines to ensure consistency and accuracy in customer interactions
  • Help customers change travel plans, confirm or obtain their itinerary, request refunds, or report travel issues
  • Process refunds and resolve customer complaints in a fair and timely manner
  • Place outbound calls to travel partners (hotels, rental car agencies, etc.) as necessary to resolve customer issues
  • Document information and outcomes as necessary to maintain accurate records and improve customer service

Essential Qualifications

* Prior customer service experience is required, with a strong focus on resolving customer complaints and issues

  • Strong geographical knowledge and experience working in the travel industry or personal experience using travel products is preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on empathy, active listening, and problem-solving
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately document information and outcomes
  • Easy to work with, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt
  • Excellent listening and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments
  • Demonstrates empathy effectively, with a strong ability to understand and respond to customer needs
  • Self-directed, with a strong ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to organize, prioritize, anticipate situations, act, and see issues through to completion
  • Strong typing skills, with the ability to navigate multiple applications and systems efficiently
  • Highly proficient in using the internet and navigating seamlessly between multiple applications

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a call center or customer service environment, with a focus on resolving customer complaints and issues

  • Strong knowledge of the travel industry, including hotel, rental car, and flight reservations
  • Experience using customer relationship management (CRM) software and other relevant systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex customer issues
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a strong ability to communicate and collaborate with team members

* Computer and equipment meeting the following specifications: + Internet: High-speed, hardwired internet (no Wi-Fi or satellite) + Operating System: Windows 10 + Processor: Intel Core i5, 1.5 GHz and above + Memory: 8GB of RAM + Hard Drive: 256GB + Browser: Internet Explorer 11 and latest version of Google Chrome + Monitor: Dual monitors, each capable of displaying at least 1920 x 1080 pixels + Sound: Sound card (standard on most computers) + Virus Protection: Up-to-date anti-virus software + Headset: USB noise-canceling headset
