Job Description

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the face of our company, providing exceptional customer experiences to callers seeking assistance with scholarship applications. Your role will involve:

  • Responding to inbound calls from customers seeking information and support with scholarship applications
  • Providing accurate and timely information to customers, resolving issues and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner
  • Utilizing problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues and escalate concerns to senior team members as needed
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of customer interactions
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and resolution of customer issues
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

* At least one year of customer service/call center experience

  • English proficiency
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service experiences
  • Ability to remain empathetic, personable, and compassionate during sometimes difficult, tense situations
  • Self-motivation, detail-orientation, and ability to multitask
  • Accurate typing and keyboard skills; comfort with PC/internet navigation

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a not-for-profit or educational setting

  • Familiarity with scholarship application processes and procedures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
