Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our Southwest Airlines operations support team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for assembling large, complex units of data that meet non-functional and functional business requirements. You'll also identify, design, and implement internal process upgrades, including re-designing infrastructure for increased scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes.

Responsibilities

* Assemble large, complex units of data that meet non-functional and functional business requirements

• Identify, design, and implement internal process upgrades, including:

+ Re-designing infrastructure for increased scalability + Optimizing data delivery + Automating manual processes

• Build required infrastructure for high-quality extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various data sources using AWS and SQL technologies
• Build analytical tools to utilize the data pipeline, providing actionable insights into key business performance metrics, including operational performance and customer acquisition
• Work with stakeholders, including data, design, product, and government groups, to support them with data-related technical issues
• Generate or adapt tools and technology to serve customer needs
• May perform other process responsibilities as directed by Employee's Leaders

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• 2+ years of experience in data entry, data analysis, or a related field
• Proficiency in AWS and SQL technologies
• Experience with data pipeline development and analytical tool creation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• 5+ years of experience in data entry, data analysis, or a related field
• Experience with data visualization tools and technologies
• Knowledge of design thinking principles and methodologies
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
