Role Overview
As a Virtual Medical Assistant - Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient data entry processes, reviewing referrals, logging into hospital portals, and managing multiple tasks efficiently. Your primary focus will be on supporting our client's medical practice, a Cardiologist/Surgeon operating in the Mountain Time zone. Key Responsibilities
* Ensure accurate and efficient data entry processes, contributing to the smooth functioning of the medical practice
- Review referrals, logging into hospital portals to retrieve records for the next day's patients, renaming records, attaching records, and double-checking incoming referrals
- Experience with data entry and auditing of the rest of the team's work
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work effectively in the Mountain Time zone to align with client schedules
- Collaborate with the medical team to ensure seamless communication and data exchange
Requirements
* Proven experience in data entry, preferably in a US healthcare setting
- Experience with data entry and auditing of the rest of the team's work
- Experience with reviewing referrals, logging into hospital portals, renaming records, attaching records, and double-checking incoming referrals
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work effectively in the Mountain Time zone to align with client schedules
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with the medical team
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
