Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Associate - Housekeeper, you will be responsible for:

• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene across our facilities, including Emanuel Hospital, Randall Children's Hospital, and Medical Office Buildings
• Disinfecting high-touch surfaces and preventing the spread of harmful pathogens
• Handling medical waste, including biohazards, blood products, bodily fluids, sharps disposal, linen, and pharmaceutical waste
• Interacting with patients, including COVID-positive individuals, to actively prevent disease from spreading
• Participating in process improvement activities and other duties as required

Essential Qualifications

* Passion for supporting the healthcare community

• Commitment to following safety protocols and infection control standards
• Ability to read, write, and perform math skills in English
• Ability to relate to others with courtesy and tact under normal and stressful conditions
