Job Summary

As a mostly remote Customer Service Associate, you'll be responsible for handling inbound faxes and phone calls, gathering and verifying essential information from healthcare providers, and ensuring accurate data entry into our system. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. With a competitive hourly rate of $18.75, you'll have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, with opportunities for growth and development.

Responsibilities

* Manage incoming faxes with provider, patient, and medication details

  • Ensure all necessary information is complete, such as date of birth and medication dosage
  • Follow up with providers to obtain missing details
  • Accurately input data into the system to confirm prescription coverage
  • Handle approximately 20 inbound calls per day to gather and verify the same information
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve any issues or concerns
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements

* Minimum of 6 months customer service experience (preferably in a call center)

  • Must be a resident of Massachusetts
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Ability to manage both fax and phone-based tasks efficiently
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced call center environment
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in data entry software
  • Ability to work in a remote environment with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in a healthcare or pharmaceutical industry

  • Familiarity with medical terminology and prescription coverage processes
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
