Job Summary

As a Data Entry Lead at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our data entry functions. You'll work closely with our Assistant Manager to collect and enter data into our databases, maintaining accurate records of our clients and ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities

* Assist the Assistant Manager with Data Entry Operator responsibilities, including collecting and entering data in databases and maintaining accurate records of clients

  • Train, supervise, coach, and counsel guest service employees to ensure they're meeting our high standards
  • Lead employees to comply with university and department policies and procedures, providing consistent feedback and maintaining professional composure and confidentiality as appropriate
  • Resolve employee issues, escalating to senior leadership as necessary, and ensure department adherence to all applicable safety and loss-prevention procedures and best practices
  • Uphold image standards through regular checks and employee briefings, disciplining department employees as necessary or appropriate
  • Follow up on work orders and resolve any complications efficiently and on time, efficiently transitioning shift handover to incoming lead by thoroughly communicating employee incidents and other area updates
  • Assist management with providing feedback on scheduling for operations, successfully completing all required administrative functions in a timely manner
  • Assist employees with credit card and reservation handling duties and inventory reconciliation, conducting regular supply inventory audits and overseeing items needed for move-in/out (e.g., labels, envelopes, signage)
  • Maintain and order supplies for booths, field office, and other areas as needed, demonstrating university's unifying values to achieve personal goals while benefiting employees and the university
  • Promote an environment that fosters inclusive relationships and creates unbiased opportunities for contributions through ideas, words, and actions that uphold principles of the arenaflex Code of Ethics
  • Understand and promote a safe work environment by adhering to all applicable policies, procedures, and guidelines, performing other related duties as assigned or requested

Essential Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience in data entry or a related field, with a strong understanding of databases and data management

  • Excellent typing skills (at least 40 wpm) with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • Familiarity with spreadsheets and online files, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in a leadership or supervisory role, with a proven track record of success in training and developing employees

  • Familiarity with arenaflex's policies and procedures, with a strong understanding of our values and culture
  • Certification in data entry or a related field, such as Certified Data Entry Specialist (CDES) or Certified Administrative Assistant (CAA)
  • Experience with inventory management and supply chain logistics, with a strong understanding of inventory control and reconciliation

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ability to learn new software and systems quickly, with a strong willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to train and develop employees to meet arenaflex's high standards
