Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to provide exceptional patient care and customer service. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting pharmacists with patient consultations, prescription processing, and other pharmacy-related tasks
  • Engaging with customers to understand their needs and provide personalized service
  • Using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and manage inventory
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and pharmacy inventory
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure seamless customer service and efficient operations
  • Participating in ongoing training and education to stay current with industry developments and best practices

Key Responsibilities

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

  • Previous experience in a retail pharmacy or customer service environment preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, pharmacists, and other team members
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Basic computer skills, with the ability to learn and use pharmacy systems and software
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a retail pharmacy or customer service environment

  • Knowledge of pharmacy systems and software
  • Certification in pharmacy technology or a related field
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations and age groups
