Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Data Entry & Excel Remediation Specialist to support our high‑volume data‑clean‑up initiatives. Key Highlights Hourly wage: $19.99 – $20.00 Shift: First Shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) Location: 100 % remote – work from anywhere in the United States Education: No degree required – experience and skill set are the primary criteria Employment type: Temporary, with potential for long‑term placement based on performance Core Responsibilities In this role you will be the backbone of our data remediation pipeline. Your day‑to‑day duties will include, but are not limited to: Alphanumeric Data Capture: Accurately transcribe raw data from source documents into designated system fields, ensuring fidelity to the original information. Source Verification: Cross‑check entered data against original documents—such as canceled checks, sales reports, invoices, and billing statements—to identify and correct discrepancies. Data Quality Assurance: Conduct systematic reviews, perform double‑entry verification, and flag anomalies for supervisory review. Excel‑Driven Remediation: Leverage advanced Excel functions (including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and macros) to cleanse, sort, and standardize data sets. Error Resolution: Detect, isolate, and resolve data entry errors, documenting corrective actions and escalating unresolved issues to team leads. Activity Logging: Maintain detailed logs of processed records, error rates, and time‑tracking metrics to support performance reporting. High‑Volume Production: Manage a steady flow of records, meeting daily throughput targets while preserving accuracy. Tool Proficiency: Utilize spreadsheet and database software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, basic SQL queries) to manage large data volumes efficiently. Essential Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional data entry or data remediation experience, preferably in a financial or wealth‑management context. Technical Skills: Expert‑level proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data validation, and basic macro creation.
