Advertising Copy MEDICAL MICROBIOLOGY AND CLINICAL LABORATORY MEDICINE PHYSICIAN UNIVERSITY OF VERMONT The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at the University of Vermont (UVM) seeks a pathologist with expertise in Clinical Laboratory Medicine, including experience in Medical Microbiology. This is a full-time position with a faculty appointment on the Clinical Scholar Pathway (non-tenure) at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor rank. The successful candidate will work in the Division of Laboratory Medicine at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Medical Microbiology, provide microbiology expertise as a pathologist in the UVM Health Network, and provide clinical service as a Clinical Pathologist. The applicant must be a physician (M.D. or D.O.) who is board certified in Clinical Pathology and is either board eligible/certified or has at least 3 years of experience in Medical Microbiology. CLIA Medical Director leadership role(s) may exist for the experienced and interested candidate. The candidate should be an enthusiastic teacher who will provide education to medical students, residents, infectious disease fellows and clinicians. The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine provides academic effort for an initial three years, allowing our new faculty to develop scholarly and educational activities aligned with their interests.
