Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Medical Data Entry Assistant to join our clinical and business coordination teams. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with EMR experience and a background in healthcare operations. As a Medical Data Entry Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely entry of medical records, lab results, and administrative data. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently will be essential in supporting our teams and delivering high-quality patient care.
Shift Availability
We offer flexible scheduling to accommodate your needs. You can choose to work either:
* Tuesday - Saturday (30 hours per week)
* Sunday - Thursday (30 hours per week)
Responsibilities
As a Medical Data Entry Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
* Accurately entering and uploading clinical notes and data into EMR systems
* Uploading and organizing lab results into patient records
* Ordering lab work as instructed by providers or business coordinator team
* Completing various administrative tasks as assigned
* Communicating effectively with internal teams to ensure timely task completion
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Medical Assistant certification
* At least 1 year of data entry experience and familiarity with database management systems
* Proficiency with EMR software and electronic communication platforms
* High level of attention to detail
* Strong work ethic and reliability
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
* Excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality work output
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Skills and Expertise
In addition to the requirements, we are looking for candidates with:
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
* Experience with Google Workspace apps (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.)
* Experience in a behavioral health setting
Job Type and Compensation
This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly rate of $19.00 - $20.00 per hour.
