Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, working with a fun and motivated team, and contributing to the overall success of our store. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting customers and providing a warm and welcoming experience
  • Running the register, cashiering, and making purchase suggestions to customers
  • Working with our food program and providing excellent customer care
  • Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, both inside and out
  • Providing regular and predictable onsite attendance
  • Interacting with customers daily, resolving issues, and providing solutions
  • Working as part of a team to accomplish daily goals and tasks
  • Coming up with creative ideas to solve problems and improve customer satisfaction

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • A passion for customer service and a desire to provide an exceptional shopping experience
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Retail and customer service experience, preferably in a sales associate or cashiering role
  • A willingness to learn and grow with our company

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:

  • Experience working in a retail or convenience store environment
  • Sales and marketing experience
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to team goals
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems

Physical Requirements

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll need to be able to:

  • Stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours
  • Lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes in a shift
  • Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level
  • Push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
  • Bend at the waist with some twisting up to one hour a shift
  • Grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands, requiring eye-hand coordination
