Job Summary:

As a Customer Service/Sales Representative, you'll be the face of arenaflex, responsible for providing fast, friendly service to our customers while driving sales growth and promoting our products. You'll work closely with your Department Supervisor and other associates to ensure a seamless shopping experience, maintain a safe and clean store environment, and stay up-to-date on the latest products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide exceptional customer service by actively seeking out customers to assess their needs and provide assistance

  • Learn about products using our tools and provide information to customers to sell an entire project
  • Greet, qualify, recommend, and close every customer in your department
  • Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
  • Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies & standards, completing specified safety training, and reporting hazards or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty
  • Work in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department as well as other departments
  • Participate in sales promotions, events, and activities to drive sales growth and customer engagement
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest products, services, and promotions to provide expert advice and recommendations to customers

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

  • 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience in a retail or related environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
  • Strong product knowledge and ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in a sales or customer service role in a retail or related environment

  • Knowledge of home improvement, DIY, or construction products and services
  • Experience with sales software, point-of-sale systems, or other retail technology
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
  • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role
