About arenaflex Health Plan and MDwise, Inc.
arenaflex Health Plan is our Michigan-based health plan, dedicated to meeting the healthcare needs of our Michigan members. With a focus on quality and customer service, we provide a range of products and programs designed to promote healthy lifestyles and improve health outcomes. MDwise, Inc. is our Indiana-based health plan, working closely with the State of Indiana and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to bring you the Hoosier Healthwise and Healthy Indiana Plan health insurance programs.
Job Summary
As a Medicare Outreach Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for delivering, strategizing, and improving quality with a focus on primary care. You will educate and network with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures on our products and programs, attract and retain membership in the Plan, and establish and maintain relationships for the promotion of healthy lifestyles among membership. You will also track and trend HEDIS or Medicare Stars rates, and foster the Plan's presence in the community by interacting with members, providers, and outside agencies as assigned.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver, strategize, and improve quality with a focus on primary care
- Educate and network with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures on our products and programs
- Attract and retain membership in the Plan
- Establish and maintain relationships for the promotion of healthy lifestyles among membership
- Track and trend HEDIS or Medicare Stars rates
- Foster the Plan's presence in the community by interacting with members, providers, and outside agencies as assigned
- Support the Customer Service department Medicare Stars Program
Qualifications
* High School Diploma or equivalent educational certification
- Two (2) years' experience in a customer service-related position
- Associate Degree in health care administration, communication, marketing, or related field (preferred)
- One year experience in a community-focused outreach position (preferred)
- NCQA experience specific to HEDIS measurement (preferred)
- In-depth understanding of claims administration as it pertains to provider payments, including CPT-4 codes, revenue codes, HCPCS codes, DRGs, etc. (preferred)

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
