Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Liaison/Front Desk Receptionist to join our Melville/Long Island office team. As the first point of contact for our internal and external colleagues, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling administrative duties, and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Liaison/Front Desk Receptionist, you will be responsible for:

  • Answering incoming calls and directing them to appropriate personnel and/or department
  • Greeting clients and potential applicants and assisting them as needed
  • Linking calls to appropriate client schedules
  • Trouble-shooting discrepancies
  • Contacting caregivers and/or clients, as necessary, to investigate missed calls, phone number errors, overlapping shifts, late or missed calls, etc.
  • Answering all telephone calls in a professional, knowledgeable, and inviting manner
  • Assisting the Human Resources Department with applicant on-boarding as necessary
  • Various clerical duties: scanning, emailing, copying, filing, etc.
  • Performing other functions and projects as assigned by management

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to answer phone in a professional manner
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in time management with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Medical field or office experience strongly preferred
  • Proficient with various HR Systems/Microsoft Office Suite or related software
