Job Summary

As a Live Chat Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing timely and effective support to customers through live chat on Shopify stores and social media accounts. You will be an integral part of our team, working closely with clients to resolve inquiries, provide product information, and offer personalized solutions. With full training provided, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and grow with our company.

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to customer inquiries and messages on Shopify stores and social media accounts in a timely and professional manner

  • Provide accurate and helpful information about products, services, and promotions
  • Offer personalized solutions and recommendations to meet customers' needs
  • Utilize provided steps and instructions to ensure consistent and high-quality support
  • Work independently, managing multiple chats and prioritizing tasks effectively
  • Maintain a positive and friendly tone in all interactions, ensuring a seamless customer experience

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., customer service, marketing, communications) preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse customers and teams
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on finding creative solutions to customer inquiries
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms and website chat functions
  • Reliable internet connection and a device able to access social media and website chat functions (phone, tablet, or laptop)
  • Availability of 10+ hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts and schedules

* Previous experience in customer service, sales, or a related field

  • Familiarity with Shopify and social media platforms
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
