Job Summary
As an Advanced Data Analyst, you'll play a critical role in helping us understand Pack patterns and drivers, and develop actionable insights that inform our business decisions. You'll work closely with business leaders to identify key challenges and develop data-driven solutions, using a wide range of tools and techniques to analyze and interpret complex data sets.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with business leaders to identify and prioritize key business challenges related to Pack patterns and drivers
* Develop and maintain a continuous pipeline of Pack intel, ensuring that all stakeholders have access to the insights they need to make informed decisions
* Perform in-depth pattern analysis, assessing the contributions of drivers from every possible angle
* Define and investigate target audience segments to drive Pack growth
* Work with other Examination groups to gather and integrate Pack data from multiple sources, creating a comprehensive and compelling narrative
* Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Pack patterns and drivers, using data to inform business decisions and drive growth
Essential Capabilities
* Bachelor's degree in Information Analysis, Mathematics, Information Science, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
* Proficiency in R/Python/SAS (or another statistical analysis tool) and SQL, with experience working with large data sets
* Strong understanding of statistical modeling, AI, and other quantitative methodologies, including but not limited to regression analysis, hypothesis testing, data preparation for modeling, and segmentation techniques
* Ability to control and manipulate large data sets, deciphering patterns and trends, and using a wide range of data sources and tools
* Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, etc.
* Demonstrated analytical skills, with the ability to apply business acumen to data analysis and recommendations
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights in a clear and compelling way
Preferred Capabilities
* Experience working in the streaming media industry or other membership-based services
* Experience working with Advertising groups or in the Marketing space
* Familiarity with A/B testing and MVT methodologies
