Job Description:

We're seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Chat Moderator to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. As a Chat Moderator, you'll be responsible for maintaining a positive and respectful atmosphere within our Discord server, enforcing community guidelines, and addressing user concerns. Key Responsibilities:

* Moderate the chat of our official Discord server, ensuring that all interactions adhere to our community guidelines and rules

• Delete messages that violate our community standards, including but not limited to:

+ Hate speech or discriminatory language + Spam or self-promotional content + Inflammatory or provocative comments

• Ban users who repeatedly violate our community guidelines, after thorough investigation and review
• Mute users who have violated our community standards, to prevent further disruptions
• Investigate reports made by users about potential rule violations, and take necessary actions to resolve the issue
• Collaborate with our team to develop and implement community engagement strategies, to foster a positive and inclusive environment
• Provide excellent customer service, responding to user inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications:

* Must be at least 18 years of age

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex situations and make informed decisions
• Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and prioritize tasks effectively
• Familiarity with Discord and community management principles a plus
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
