Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Remote, 3rd Shift, Overnight Customer Service Representative. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients, processing loan applications, and making payment arrangements. You'll work closely with our team to ensure that our clients receive timely and accurate information, and that our organization's credibility is maintained.

Responsibilities and Duties

As a Remote, 3rd Shift, Overnight Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Make outbound and receive inbound calls to provide exceptional customer service and support to our clients.
  • Consistently and accurately document all information pertaining to accounts, including customer interactions, loan applications, and payment arrangements.
  • Use basic business math to solve problems and make informed decisions.
  • Speak clearly, concisely, and effectively, and listen to and understand information and ideas as presented verbally.
  • Maintain a manner that shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism when speaking to customers.
  • Follow written and/or verbal instructions, and work within the laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of arenaflex.
  • Process card payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform the initial approval of potential borrowers by thoroughly examining their applications through multiple software systems.
  • Review applicants to evaluate their eligibility for loan, and follow up with customers to clarify important points.
  • Finalize loan details and keep customers informed of rules and obligations.
  • Remain up to speed regarding lending and other financial services, and create and renew records as needed.
  • Identify customer needs, explore all options available to customers, and provide solutions that meet their needs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, and change quickly with the needs of the company.
  • Ability to multi-task by speaking with customers and typing notes simultaneously.
  • Meet monthly individual goals as set by management.

Required Skills

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and competencies:

  • Excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences and resolving customer complaints.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure, and navigate tense situations with ease.
  • Proficient with technology, especially computers, software applications, and phone systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex information and make informed decisions.

Preferred Education and/or Experience

While a minimum of a High School diploma/GED is required, we prefer candidates with a degree in a related field, such as Business, Finance, or Communications. Additionally, prior experience in customer service, sales, or a related field is highly desirable.

Technical Skills

To perform the duties and responsibilities of this role, you'll need to possess the following technical skills:

  • Proficient use of MS: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Proficient user of the Internet and cloud-based storage.
  • Familiarity with loan processing software and systems.

Working Conditions / Physical Demands

As a Remote, 3rd Shift, Overnight Customer Service Representative, you'll be working in a fully remote environment, with the ability to work from home. You'll need to be able to sit for long periods of time, talking and listening constantly, and be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
