About the Role

As a Data Engineer on our team, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining the data pipelines that power our media business. This will involve a range of tasks, including:

• Designing and implementing data pipelines using cloud-based technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS
• Developing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, and other tools
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and develop data-driven solutions
• Troubleshooting and resolving data pipeline issues in a timely and efficient manner
• Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and applying this knowledge to improve our data pipelines

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL pipeline development and support
• Strong knowledge of Python and SQL, with experience using Snowflake and other cloud-based data platforms
• Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes
• Familiarity with source control systems such as GitLab and GitHub
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex data pipeline issues
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Nice to Have

* Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark

• Proficiency in cloud design and deployment using AWS or other cloud platforms
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
• Familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies
