Managing Director - Investment Banking, Private Capital

The Opportunity Many experienced capital raisers reach a point where they have built valuable investor relationships, but lack consistent access to high-quality deal flow, institutional infrastructure, or a platform that allows them to fully monetize their network. We are seeking a Senior Capital Raising Partner to join the firm and work alongside leadership in raising capital across a steady pipeline of private equity, private credit, real asset, and secondary investment opportunities. This role is designed for senior professionals who already have trusted relationships with allocators but want a strong platform, differentiated deal flow, and true economic alignment behind them. About MVV Capital Partners MVV Capital Partners is a New York-based private markets platform focused on capital formation and structuring investment opportunities across private equity, private credit, real assets, emerging managers and co-investments. We work directly with leading sponsors and operators and structure investment vehicles for a network of family offices, entrepreneurs, and institutional allocators. The firm combines disciplined capital strategy, curated deal access, and institutional execution capabilities to support long-term investor relationships. What You Will Be Doing

  • Raise capital from your existing network of family offices, HNW individuals, RIAs, and institutional allocators
  • Maintain and deepen long-term investor relationships
  • Introduce investors to proprietary and partner investment opportunities
  • Operate within a structured, data-driven capital formation environment
  • Participate in investor meetings, presentations, and diligence discussions
  • Collaborate with leadership on capital strategy and investor targeting

This allows you to focus on building relationships and allocating capital, without having to operate as a one-person platform. Ideal Candidate Profile This role is intended for experienced professionals who already have allocator relationships and want a stronger platform and deal flow behind them. Typical backgrounds include:

  • Active FINRA securities licenses
  • 7+ years working directly with allocators or raising capital
  • Established relationships with family offices, HNW, RIAs, or institutions
  • Demonstrated capital raising track record
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Comfortable operating in a commission-only structure

Compensation

This role offers highly attractive, performance-based economics designed to reward production and long-term contribution. The structure is designed for senior professionals seeking true economic upside within an institutional platform

  • No cap on earnings and BD fees eaten by MVV so you dont have to pay out of pocket
