Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Customer Service Expert, your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling and carefully responding to all customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Providing excellent customer service through active listening, empathy, and a solutions-focused approach
  • Working with confidential customer information and treating it sensitively, adhering to arenaflex's strict confidentiality policies
  • Aiming to resolve issues on the first call by being proactive and taking ownership of customer concerns
  • Appropriately communicating with customers, both verbally and in writing, to ensure clear understanding and resolution
  • Calmly attempting to resolve and de-escalate any issues that may arise, using effective conflict resolution techniques
  • Escalating interactions when necessary and appropriate, to ensure that customer concerns are addressed promptly and effectively
  • Tracking all call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes, to ensure that customer interactions are accurately documented and analyzed
  • Providing feedback on call issues, to help improve arenaflex's customer service processes and procedures

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Ability to work remotely in a virtual team environment, with a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration
  • 6 months of customer service experience, preferably in a mechanical or technical field
  • Over 18 years of age, with a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to type 25 words per minute, with strong keyboarding skills
  • High school graduate or equivalent, with a strong foundation in English language and communication skills
  • Comfort with desktop computer systems, including Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Proven oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner
  • Logical problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex customer issues and develop effective solutions
  • Ability to navigate Windows operating systems, with a strong understanding of computer hardware and software

While not required, the following skills and qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience working in a mechanical or technical field, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and develop effective solutions
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
