Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for a range of critical tasks that ensure the accuracy, completeness, and organization of our electronic storage system. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collecting and digitizing data such as invoices, canceled bills, client information, and financial statements, ensuring that all entries are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Maintaining a detailed and organized storage system, adhering to arenaflex's data management standards and best practices.
  • Keeping a record of hard copy data, including invoices, inventory checklists, and other financial documents, and ensuring that all physical records are accurately stored and easily accessible.
  • Establishing data entry standards by continually updating filing systems to improve data quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Addressing data inconsistencies by working closely with administrative staff to locate missing data and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Attending data queries and reporting any major data errors to management, ensuring that all issues are promptly addressed and resolved.
  • Adhering to best data management practices and maintaining a high standard of accuracy and efficiency in all data entry tasks.

Requirements

To succeed as a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll need to possess a combination of technical skills, experience, and personal qualities. The essential requirements for this role include:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • At least 1 year of experience working as a data entry specialist, with a proven track record of accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent knowledge of data entry software, including Ninox, Kintone, and OmPrompt Order Management.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to spot errors with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with staff members, both remotely and in-person.
  • Solid time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience and basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Typing speed of at least 50 wpm.
  • Excellent typing skills and experience working with Windows, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable for this role:

  • Experience working with cloud-based data storage systems and software.
  • Familiarity with data analytics and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of data security protocols and best practices.
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment.
  • Certification in data entry or a related field (e.g., Certified Data Entry Specialist).
