What You'll Do
As a Data Entry Specialist on our Veterinary Support Team, you'll be responsible for:
- Connecting directly with veterinary facilities to arrange prescription approvals, resolve client issues, and explain order requests
- Examining and resolving issues to determine the best course of action for clients and partners, and following up on a case-by-case basis to resolve issues
- Completing accurate and timely data entry of prescriptions into our healthcare software
- Maintaining a high level of quality through data entry and order handling of veterinary pharmacy orders
- Working with empathy, attention to detail, patience, compassion, and kindness to clients and partners alike
- Demonstrating a willingness to learn and grow, and being open to feedback and development opportunities
- Communicating with veterinary facilities via phone (and occasionally other channels) with various topics, primarily using our internal software and systems to explore solutions and record client notes
- Expecting a significant portion of the typical business day to involve outbound veterinary center/client phone contacts
What You'll Need
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 2 years of experience working in a client or healthcare-focused environment
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening)
- Ability to multitask (e.g., chatting on the phone while exploring on the computer and taking notes)
- A strong sense of ownership, self-motivation, and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- High school education or equivalent
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Pharmacy Technician License from the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy
- Strong decision-making skills
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adapt to change as needed to meet the business needs of the organization
- Flexibility to adjust your schedule and stay at work longer than required depending on the situation
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information
- Ability to pass a background check
