We're seeking an experienced Bilingual French/English Customer Care Representative to join our remote team in Knoxville, Tennessee. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll play a vital role in providing high-quality support to our clients, resolving their inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner.

Job Summary:

As a Bilingual French/English Customer Care Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, responding to their inquiries, requests, and problems in a timely and professional manner. You'll research, analyze, and provide solutions that meet the customer's needs, resolving issues on the first contact whenever possible. Your strong problem-solving and negotiation skills will enable you to handle difficult customer calls, while your proficiency in Microsoft Office applications will facilitate efficient communication and data management.

Key Responsibilities:

* Respond to telephone inquiries, requests, and problems from clients in a timely and professional manner

  • Research, analyze, and provide solutions that meet the customer's needs
  • Resolve customer inquiries and problems on first contact, providing account information and resolving billing disputes as necessary
  • Correct payment errors, revise fee and finance charges as appropriate, and maintain accurate account records
  • Take card, check, or other orders, and act on lost or stolen cards/checks
  • Research customer problems that could not be resolved during the initial contact, escalating issues to senior team members as necessary
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, including phone calls, emails, and chat logs
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues and improve overall customer experience

Essential Qualifications:

* Bilingual French/English language proficiency (written and spoken)

  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, preferably in a call center or remote work environment
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle difficult customer calls
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and clients
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on meeting customer needs and resolving issues efficiently

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in the payments industry or a related field

  • Knowledge of banking products and services, including payment processing and merchant services
  • Familiarity with CRM software and other customer service tools
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
  • Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g. Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR))
