Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering incoming and conducting outbound calls professionally, providing information about products or services
  • Handling customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly, utilizing computer systems to track, gather information, and troubleshoot customer inquiries
  • Performing data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
  • Communicating effectively with customers in a clear and concise manner
  • Analyzing customer needs and recommending appropriate solutions
  • Maintaining a high level of professionalism and patience to ensure customer satisfaction

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Pharmacy, healthcare insurance, medical billing, hospital, or related experience required
  • Experience utilizing outbound phone software such as Genesis, and Salesforce
  • Proficiency in English; bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish, are a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle various types of customers
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous
  • Experience with data entry and using computerized systems is required
  • Multilingual capabilities are beneficial for diverse customer interactions

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Strong proficiency in English and bilingual in Spanish is a bonus but not required
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in medical terminology and data entry
  • Prior experience in a medical office setting is preferred
  • Ability to handle customer inquiries with professionalism and empathy
  • Multilingual skills and medical insurance, reimbursement, and order shipping knowledge are a plus
  • Ability to work an (8) hour shift between the hours 8:00am - 8:00pm EST. Schedules are on a rotational basis between these hours daily.
