Job Overview
As an Experienced Customer Experience Advocate (Work From Home) – Amazon Locker+ Customer Service Associate, you'll be part of a dynamic team that goes beyond assisting with customer orders. You'll connect personally with our customers, uplift their lives, and make a lasting impact. Our associates work in designated retail locations, helping facilitate the delivery and return of customer orders, and we're looking for individuals who are ready to delight our customers with quality service, have an up-for-anything attitude, and thrive in an ever-changing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Some of your key duties may include:
- Receiving, picking, and stowing customer orders, processing returns, and preparing for delivery
- Assisting customers with questions they may have
- Working through problem-solving scenarios for customers
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace
- Managing responsibilities for a Locker+ location, including opening and closing site
- Using technology like smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders
- Receiving truck deliveries
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:
- Be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirement and safety guidelines in English
- Have excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Possess a strong customer service focus and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences
- Be available to work part-time between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. with schedules varying week to week
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial for this role:
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment
- Experience working with technology, such as smartphones and handheld devices
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to stand and walk during shifts lasting up to five hours, with or without reasonable accommodation
