Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our team in a hybrid work environment. As a Senior Bookkeeper, you'll provide leadership and guidance to junior bookkeepers, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions, accounts, and reports. You'll also participate in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles, as well as provide support for financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide direction and guidance to junior bookkeepers, including training and development to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.

• Create and review non-standard reports and analyses, and address any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
• Inspect transactions to ensure that accounting procedures are consistent and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure that all organizational deadlines are met, including those related to financial reporting and analysis.
• Participate in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles, including the review and analysis of financial statements and reports.
• Provide support for financial reporting and analysis, including the preparation of financial statements, reports, and presentations.
• Participate in special projects and initiatives, as assigned by management.
• Provide information and data to internal and external auditors, as required.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, with a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred.

• At least five years of experience in accounting, with a minimum of three years in a senior or leadership role.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and industry-specific accounting practices and standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of supporting technologies, including ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.

Work Environment

arenaflex offers a hybrid work environment, with in-office presence required on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and work-from-home flexibility on Monday and Friday. However, management may require employees to work from our actual locations on specific occasions. While working from home, employees must be located within the Tri-State area of Delaware, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania.
