Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Scientist to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge research and evidence generation initiatives. As a key member of our Clinical Research and Evidence Generation team, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing data-driven solutions to address complex business questions. You'll work closely with our team of experts to develop and execute research studies, analyze data, and generate insights that inform business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement data-driven solutions to address complex business questions
- Develop and execute research studies to generate insights and inform business decisions
- Analyze large datasets from various sources to identify trends and patterns
- Collaborate with our team of experts to develop and implement data-driven solutions
- Work with our Clinical Research and Evidence Generation team to develop and execute research studies
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and other data visualizations to communicate insights and findings
- Conduct literature reviews and stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence generation methodologies
- Collaborate with our team of experts to develop and implement data-driven solutions to address complex business questions
Essential Capabilities
* 2 years of experience with R, Python, or SQL
- Experience in designing and implementing powerful and reproducible statistical analyses in the context of epidemiology and observational research with healthcare data
- Knowledge of standard statistical testing strategies, including generalized linear models, regression and classification, decision trees, machine learning, time series analysis, and survival analysis
- Experience handling large datasets from various sources
- Experience working with protected patient health data
- Knowledge of at least one of the following: Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Spotfire, or other BI visualization tools
Favored Capabilities
* Mastery in EMR/Health IT, disease libraries, and claims data sets
- Aptitude in clinical data principles, clinical terminologies, and controlled vocabularies used in healthcare data and ontologies (ICD9/10/ReadCode)
- Experience in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory compliance rules for real-world evidence studies or clinical trials (e.g., ISO, MDD/MDR, CFR)
- Experience working with alternative data sources and alternative methods for clinical data collection, particularly those enabled by technology platforms and solutions
- Experience with trial design, Bayesian modeling, sequential data, computational statistics
- Understanding of machine learning and AI strategies, ability to continue self-learning of technical and non-technical skills
