Position Overview

The Data Entry Operator is a critical role that requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. As a Data Entry Operator, you'll be responsible for processing child support payments in the SDU (State Disbursement Unit) system, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures. You'll also be tasked with other duties as assigned, which may include:

• Maintaining a general understanding of policies and procedures
• Collecting, researching, organizing, and analyzing data
• Working as a team member, but also independently at times with limited direction
• Meeting stringent schedules and timelines in a fast-paced environment
• Maintaining flexibility and/or working overtime as needed

Required Skills and Experience

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of prior experience in data entry or a related field
• Proficiency in data entry skills, including keyboard, mouse, and 10-key pad
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong interpersonal skills, using tact, patience, and courtesy
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Flexibility and willingness to work overtime as needed

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following skills and experience are highly desirable:

• Experience working in a remote environment
• Familiarity with child support payment processing systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
• Experience with data entry software and systems

Assessment and Interview Process

As part of our hiring process, you'll be required to pass a data entry assessment, which will be sent to you prior to the interview. This assessment will evaluate your data entry skills and ability to work accurately and efficiently.

Schedule and Work Environment

This is a part-time remote position, requiring a flexible schedule that starts at 4am. You must reside in the state of Ohio to be eligible for this role. As a remote employee, you'll have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, while still being part of a dynamic and supportive team.
