Job Description:

As a Customer Service and Logistics Representative at arenaflex, you will be the face of our company, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless logistics operations. Your duties will include:

• Helping customers with questions and concerns regarding our products, services, and administration work as needed
• Communicating with customers over the phone and via email
• Scheduling trucks to ensure timely delivery of products to our customers
• Collaborating with sales representatives to ease their burdens on the road and provide support
• Working with railcars to ensure efficient transportation of chemicals
• Processing payments and calculating charges
• Monitoring customer satisfaction levels and referring customers to superiors when necessary
• Maintaining accurate spreadsheets and sending schedules daily for trucking companies
• Filling orders for billing purposes and handling Haz Mat training
• Booking travel arrangements and being open to cross-training
• Researching projects and preparing to handle municipal bids with direction

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal communication, with proper grammar and sentence structure
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Sage, data entry, Excel, CSX & NS Rail websites
• Professionalism, including being polite to suppliers and customers, leaving personal issues at home, and accepting direction and suggestions well
• Punctuality, with a strong ability to meet deadlines and achieve tasks in a timely manner
• Dependability, with a proven track record of following through on tasks and instructions
• Ability to work in a team-setting, helping others, respecting social distancing, and maintaining concentration
• Problem-solving and decision-making ability, with the ability to work independently with training
• Effective time management and organization, with a focus on getting work done correctly and efficiently
• Attention to detail, with a strong ability to read and understand instructions carefully
• Understanding of our company's products and services, with a willingness to learn and grow
• Openness to participating in continuing and professional development webinars as needed
