Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Intake and sale of prescriptions, processing charges for prescriptions and OTC merchandise
  • Collecting payments in the form of cash, check, and credit card
  • Providing receipts and checking the status of student accounts
  • Collecting personal information and counting and recording all cash/charge records and files
  • Answering calls and greeting patients with exceptional customer service
  • Following all state and federal laws pertaining to the practice of pharmacy, including HIPAA, and adhering to established operating procedures

Requirements

* High school diploma or higher, plus one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Pharmacy experience is a plus
  • Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in a healthcare setting or customer-facing role

  • Knowledge of pharmacy operations and procedures
  • Familiarity with electronic health records and pharmacy software
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
