Key Responsibilities

As a Part Time Seasonal Customer Service Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers in our Ticket and Gate areas. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that every customer has a smooth and pleasant travel experience, from ticketing and baggage check-in to gate boarding and beyond. Your responsibilities will include:

Ticket Agent:

+ Greet customers and assist them with the ticketing and baggage check-in process + Use a computer to sell, print, and reissue tickets + Manage the check-in process, ensuring that customers have the proper documentation for travel + Tag baggage and perform lifting tasks that involve transferring baggage from scales to conveyor belts + Practice safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures

Gate Agent:

+ Assist customers with routing, trip planning, and gate boarding + Use computers to assist customers with seat availability, gate announcements, flight status, checking, and handling baggage + Operate jet ways to place them in position prior to aircraft arrival and lifting, opening, closing, and securing aircraft doors + Practice safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures

What You Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:

High school diploma or GED equivalent:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this role.

Safety and security:

Age:

You must be at least 18 years of age to apply for this role.

Physical demands:

Frequently lifting bags or items weighing up to and including 80 pounds is a requirement for this role.

Language skills:

You must be fluent, both written and orally, in English, and Spanish is a plus.

Computer skills:

Entry-level computer skills are required for this role.

Communication skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills, using appropriate grammar, tone, and pronunciation, are essential for success in this role.

Availability:

You must be willing to work a fixed and/or rotating schedule, including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Experience:

Previous experience in customer service or a related field is a plus.

Education:

A degree in a related field, such as hospitality or business, is a plus.
