Responsibilities

As an Experienced Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Performing a variety of support functions to support the department, including data entry, data analysis, and report generation.
  • Handling multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
  • Assisting in compiling data, generating reports, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Providing exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
  • Collaborating with team members to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies.

Required Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and experience:

  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a data entry clerk, with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Fast typing skills, with the ability to type at least 40 words per minute.
  • Knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets, including MS Office Word, Excel, and other relevant software applications.
  • Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices.
  • Basic understanding of databases, including data entry, data analysis, and report generation.
  • Good command of English, both oral and written, with excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accuracy and precision in your work.

Preferred Skills & Experience

While not required, the following skills and experience would be an asset in this role:

  • Knowledge of touch typing systems, such as the Dvorak or Colemak layouts.
  • Experience with data entry software, such as Excel, Access, or other relevant applications.
  • Familiarity with database management systems, including data modeling, data analysis, and report generation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Experience working in a remote environment, with a strong understanding of virtual collaboration tools and technologies.

Equipment Specifications

To ensure your success in this role, you will need to meet the following equipment specifications:

  • Dual monitors, with the ability to have Teams/Outlook open on both screens.
  • Keyboard with a 10-key number pad.
  • Windows 10 or 11 operating system.
  • ISP download speed of 25Mbps or higher.
  • Minimum screen resolution of 1920 X 1080 (higher preferred).
  • Laptops are acceptable, but they must be able to run an external monitor at the prescribed resolution.
  • No Chromebook or MacBook.
  • Web camera for Teams meetings.
  • Headset or external speakers (if none built in) for calls.
