Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team on a temporary basis, with the potential for permanent employment. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer support, answering calls, and responding to queries related to medical insurance. This is an ideal opportunity to pivot your customer service expertise into the dynamic healthcare industry and work from the comfort of your own home.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering exceptional customer support by answering calls and responding to queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Assisting customers with medical insurance questions, ensuring each interaction is handled with respect and patience
  • Accurately documenting call content in real-time to ensure seamless communication and resolution of customer issues
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve customer complaints and concerns
  • Providing proactive solutions to customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
  • Staying up-to-date with product knowledge and industry developments to provide informed and accurate responses to customer inquiries

Schedule

* Work Hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

  • Training: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5 PM (approximately the first 2 weeks)
  • Note: Rotating holidays as needed

Compensation and Benefits

* Pay: $16.20/hr

  • Benefits: Health Insurance, 401K, PTO available!

Essential Qualifications

* 1+ year of experience in customer service, preferably in the healthcare industry

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse customer groups
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency in computer software, including CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately document call content in real-time

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a remote or work-from-home environment

  • Knowledge of medical insurance and healthcare industry trends
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate with customers in multiple languages
